Inspired by Music, I, am always on the look out for new Music Composers to perform during live Piano Recitals, and to motivate you in written form on my Inspirational Blog Beats.
One of my latest finds is "14 Sonatas for Keyboard", from "The Fitzwilliam Collection", composed by the 18th Century Spanish Composer, Antonio Soler.
A contemporary of Haydn, Gluck, and C.P.E Bach, Soler lived between the Late Baroque and Early Classical Periods of Musical History from 1729 until 1783.
Have you, or any of your students played, or performed any of his works? If not, they inspire me to practice, and perform in public more. Fingers crossed they inspire you, and your students too!
If you've not yet be inspired by Soler Compositions, then I suggest beginning by learning his Sonatas in "C minor", or "Eb Major" before exploring his other inspiring Music.
