Stoke Park Guildford
Published October 01
Have you visited
Guildford's largest, and most inspirational, "Stoke Park"?
Inspiringly, I have always enjoyed walking across it whilst watching our
Sun rise on my walk from
"Guildford Railway Station"
to, "Guildford Spectrum Leisure Centre".
But, did you know, hidden within, are even more inspiring activities, such as, a
Skate Park, packed with
various Skateboarding tricks for you, and your family to master.
Don't worry if you are not Skateboard minded, as there are a host of other inspiring activities, including "Stoke Park" being the home to not one, but two, "Bowling Clubs",
"Stoke Park Bowling Club",
and,
"Wey Valley Bowling Club".
Until my next Blog, I wish you well on your
Life's Journey, and hope you inspire everyone with your achievements.
Cassons, Guildford, Cookies, and Web Stuff
Published September 22
Cassons
Cassons
Restaurant, based in Tangmere, near Chichester, West Sussex.
Serving high quality
French Cusine since 2003 with flare and passion. An unassuming
oldish style building, however, once you step inside, you are greeted with a lovely, homely interior, great service, and food to match. Well worth a visit if this is your sort of thing!
Giuildford
The Boileroom, Guildford
I often walk past this inspiring building housing a,
Cultural, Creative Arts, Community, and Music Hub, however, in all my years of commuting to the inspiring town of Guildford have never been inside, have you? If so, what's it like? Being a Musician, and Pianist, one day I feel I must, however, until the opportunity arises, I will just have to keep wondering, won't I?
Cookies
Handcrafted,
White Chocolate Cookies from "Wenzel's, The Bakers". I dropped past here on the recommendation of a Rink friend, and wow! Good job I did.
Cookies, check, my favourite! Disappointed, no, not in the least. Bread, check, sorry no photo this time, as their Bread was that yummy, it didn't last long enough!
Worth a visit, oh yes! Every time I drive past. Recommended, for sure!
Web Stuff
Another busy week. Along with achieving lots of Book Editing, my Web Site, Baldi's Home on The Web is moving from strength to strength.
More inspiring book recommendations have been added,
I have updated my Who Is Baldi page with my Vision Statement,
and finally,
Redesigned the "Index", or first page of Baldi's home on the Web , making, fingers crossed everything a lot clearer, and cleaner.
Also, my Site Map Mapping Baldi has been updated to reflect these updates.
Until my next inspiring Blog Post , thanks for continuing to visit my Home on the Web. I hope I am able to inspire you as much as I am inspired by creating it.
Cat Teaches Baldi
Published September 15
Lots of small, meaningful, quality of life updates throughout Baldi's Home on The Web this week, including updating pages with a quick method of returning to the "Home" page, making it simpler, easier, and quicker for you to navigate.
The addition of my Inspiring August Blog Posts quick links, which now brings all my Blogs up to date in appearance, except this month.
As for my Inspiring Book Recommendations page, this has seen lots of additional inspirational titles added, including Dracula, by Bram Stoker, which I am currently reading. Seeing the film, the book is a must read, isn't it? How different! Well, one needs to work out what was cut, if you know what I mean. So far, I have found his book to have a similar impact, his writing impactful, thoroughly researched, and well written. If you enjoy theses sorts of books, well worth a read.
Harking back to my previous Blog, Food Glorious Food, written by Baldi, A.K.A Amonn AL-Mahrouq, published on 28 July 2025, where I discussed our last remaining Yellow Tomatoes.....well, more arrived, and have finally
turned red. Yummy, yummy, yummy!
Whilst walking round the ever changing, and inspiring Town of "Guildford, Surrey", specifically
"Guildford Canal", and along an
old Tram Line, I chanced upon
this friendly Cat. Sitting patiently at his, or her post, watching everyone who passed, waiting for his, or her Human to return no doubt. I was annoyed at the people who passed, didn't say "Hi", as this friendly Cat's Tail reached out, brushing everyone in an attempt to communicate.
Having walked passed this particular Cat many times before, I was very happy to oblige, as, clearly this soul meant no harm to anyone, and I believe was grateful for my soft, "Hello", followed by "Good morning friend", "Enjoy your day" and strokes. In return, I was softly purred at, and allowed to continue stroking, and to say "Hi" for a while.
On the way home, whilst sat with my head in my book, a thought occurred to me, "Was this Cat teaching me patience"? What are your thoughts?
An inspiring beginning to my morning for sure!
Leaving me to ask,
what are your goals for your forthcoming week?
Plant, Plant, Plants!

This week saw lots of additions to the Books that have inspired me page, which is serves as an ever expanding catalogue of inspiring books I recommend. Do bookmark this page, if, like me, you are a lover of reading as you may find a new Author to explore, and be inspired by.
Taking off from my previous post, "Expansion in Progress", Published, August 31, 2025, regarding ideas on expanding Baldi's Home on the Web, all I will say is, exciting times ahead!
Book Writing, and Editing have taken a back seat this week, although, I have managed to complete another Chapter, as we have enjoyed hosting Family on my
Father's side. Lots of very yummy

In other news, as a Web Developer, I have consumed lots of
Strong Black Coffee, as well as holding informal, and inspirational meetings in
in OBriens Coffee, Southsea, leaving me to ask,
What are your goals for September 2025?
